Covington officials receive police and fire efficiency report

The evaluation report funded by the previous City Council and contracted by former mayor Candace Watkins has been completed and is available for review.  The public is invited to attend a presentation by the consultant, Mark Nottley, of Municipal Consulting Services LLC, at a scheduled City Council workshop, at 4:00PM on November 15, in the City Council chambers located at 222 E Kirkland St.

Immediate, short-term, and long-term recommendations in the comprehensive report will be considered by Mayor Mike Cooper and members of the City Council upon receiving input and feedback from the respective department heads of the Police and Fire Departments and from all interested parties.
